LaabhAI acceptable use rules

Version 1.0 — 27 Sep 2026 — draft prepared in-house at the founder's instruction; not a substitute for advice from a qualified Indian lawyer.

These rules are part of the terms of use. Breaking them is a breach of the terms, and clause 6 of the terms (indemnity) applies.

1. Your own account and money only

1.1 Use LaabhAI only on a Zerodha account held in your own name, with your own money.

1.2 Do not run it on anyone else's account, including a relative's or a friend's, even with their permission and even for free. Each person must install LaabhAI and accept the terms themselves.

1.3 Do not pool other people's money into your account to run it with LaabhAI.

2. No service for others

2.1 Do not offer LaabhAI, its output, or a service built on it to other people as a paid or free service: no subscriptions, no managed accounts, no hosted copies that place orders for others, no selling or forwarding its trade plans, reports or alerts as tips or signals.

2.2 Doing any of these can require SEBI registration (as an investment adviser, research analyst or portfolio manager) or exchange empanelment as an algo provider, which you would be responsible for. We hold none of these.

3. Keep the safeguards in place

3.1 Do not remove, disable or bypass, in any copy of LaabhAI that places orders in a real account:

  • the risk kernel (the rules engine that checks and signs every plan and is the only part allowed to place orders);
  • the order guard (the hook and the Claude Code deny rules that stop the AI research layer from placing orders itself);
  • the loss limits, the halt switches, or the hash chain of the audit log.

3.2 The MIT licence lets you change the code. If you nevertheless run a changed copy without these safeguards, you do so entirely at your own risk, it is no longer LaabhAI as described in our documents, you must not call it LaabhAI, and you must not send telemetry from it to us.

4. Do not falsify the records

4.1 Do not edit gate.json, the ledger, the audit log, the clock or any other file or setting to change what LaabhAI's own test results, day records or order records say. The results are shown to you as information; changing what they show misleads you and anyone you share them with.

4.2 Do not set developer environment variables on a computer connected to a real trading account. They exist only for developers testing the code.

5. No market abuse

5.1 Do not use LaabhAI, or change its rules, to manipulate prices or volumes or to deceive other market participants, including circular or self-matching trades, spoofing (placing orders you intend to cancel), or pumping a thinly traded share. These are prohibited by the SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices relating to Securities Market) Regulations, 2003.

5.2 Do not feed it, or trade on, unpublished price-sensitive information, which the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 prohibit.

5.3 Do not use it to break your broker's terms, exchange rules on API orders (including order rate limits and any static IP rule), or any other law.

6. Do not attack the service or others

6.1 Do not send false, forged or harmful data to our telemetry service, try to read another user's data, or overload our systems.

6.2 Do not use LaabhAI to access any computer, account or data without permission.

7. Where it is not allowed

7.1 Do not use LaabhAI where it is prohibited: outside India, if you are not an Indian resident, if you are under 18, or where your employer, a court order or a regulator bars you from trading or from automated trading (for example, under an insider-trading window closure or a SEBI order).

8. What we may do

8.1 If we reasonably believe you have broken these rules, we may stop providing you support, delete your telemetry after telling you, and report conduct that appears unlawful to the authorities where the law requires or permits it. Because LaabhAI runs on your computer, we cannot switch off your copy; you remain responsible for what it does.

9. Reporting misuse

9.1 Tell us about misuse, or a security weakness, at hello@agentco.in.

LaabhAI executes the rules you configured in your own account; it is not investment advice; losses are possible.
